... and how it can be of use to you.
Eastudies was created in 2004 to help and support Asian exchange students in Tübingen and to promote the University of Tübingen and its programs.
We realized that since most information materials were only available in German or we wanted to internationalize this background information.
Some of what we do is available online at this site, but our key "service" is that foreign student can email the team in Japanese or Chinese and we help. Free of charge.
A quarter million visitors later, we have significantly expanded Eastudies and launched our new version II in May 2007. All our older content was updated or revised and we included major new updates for Western exchange students in Japan, like our extensive Kansai Japanese Guide.
Members of Eastudies organised a study program for advanced business Japanese ("Finanzjapanisch Intensiv 2006 Kyoto") in cooperation with the Department of Japanese Studies at the University of Tübingen. The program was successfully held at the Kamabikan campus of the Doshisha Professional Business School in February 2006 in Kyoto (Japan).
